2001 Barton Creek Greenbelt

The Barton Creek Greenbelt is located in southwest Austin, TX. It is approximately eight miles long. The trailhead we entered was at the Barton Springs Pool, in Zilker Park. We walked upstream about three miles before heading back to the park.

	It had been raining most of the previous week, so the creek was relatively high. This was one of the shallower rapids areas.
	As you can see at the top of the hill, there are plenty of homes nearby.
	This is what most of the creek looked like.
	I liked this cliff.
	This was taken from a little side trail that wandered through the grass near the bank. The main trail was about 50' further from the water.
	This was a small waterfall a bit downstream from a place where the main trail crosses the creak.
